My M27 from earlier this month. 24 x 3 minute subs with my Meade 127 at prime.

It's interesting to see how sensitive Nikons can be at the red end.

I have changed the way I process images recently. Previously, I was clipping the whites too much. The result now is that star colours suddenly appear in my images.

Ordinarily, I would have turned down the saturation to make the stars more realistic. But, it's such a rich part of the sky, I decided to keep the colours as they were. I think I like looking at the stars in this image more than M27 itself
