Very nice, I also prefer the first one. I don't like too much red so like the toned down colour. A personal preference.

True.. but I like to give all advice I get a try to see what works for the future, its just very easy to push things too far, as im sure you know!

I like the colour in this, the Ha can turn it blood red, but you've held it there, and kept it looking natural. I think the loc contrast in Noels action is getting it a bit noisey. There is lots of great contrast in there, if you can get some more data, then post Noels actions it will be as the 1st pic.

I love the sharpness in the second image, but then again like the softer look of the first.

Truth be known, I would be ****-a-hoop at anything approaching this standard.

I wasnt counting it, but to get the first image probably about 1-2 hours processing, then more playing around with the contrast enchanced versions etc. I havent really added all the time up, I just really enjoy it!
