Lunar eclipse images

I managed to view the eclipse until half an hour after greatest totality then called it a night as the wind was picking up and causing problems and I had to be up for work

I was quite surprised at how dark the Moon became, it was difficult to see visually at totality and through the scope it looked rather ghostly.

I tried some afocal imaging and to be honest I am disapointed with the results. I have assembeled the best images and created this....

Those are lovely images of the eclipse, presented in a great looking montage!

(I wouldn't be too disappointed...not seeing it at all....now 'that' was disappointing! )
