Cambrian Mountains Obsy- update 2

More progress this week.

Holes have been dug for pier and frame supports. Note the mystery cable found in the pier hole (lucky I didn't hit it with the pickaxe!!!). The hole was meant to be 1m deep, but we hit the bedrock at 0.6m. All the rocks in the picture came from the pier hole.

The pier will be bolted to the M14 x 0.6m studding seen in this photo. Most of the rock quarried from the pier hole went back in, as infill for the concrete.

I take my hat of to you Sir! That rock looks like a logistical nightmare to build an obsy on..BUT..you know your self it will be worth all the hard work in the end!
