cervesca
Has anyone tried Alignmaster for polar alignment, adjusts polar alignment from the error information obtained during alignment in combination with one of the alignment stars?
ashworthacca
Has anyone tried Alignmaster for polar alignment, adjusts polar alignment from the error information obtained during alignment in combination with one of the alignment stars?I bought the software last year and used it a couple of times. Seemed to work well but now that I'm guiding I just do a polar alignment using the polar scope. With hindsight, for me it was money not very well spent but if I wasn't guiding I may have persevered for longer with it.
lukebl
I use it, and found it to be excellent. I can't see the pole star from my obsy, and use Alignmaster to check alignment every now and then.EDIT: whoops. I was referring to EQAlign, not Alignmaster. Sorry. Anyway, EQAlign is brilliant, and free!

Singlin
In the setup do you leave it a UT time ie central time or do you change it to your local time?
Black Knight
Use local time I would have thought. If you are using EQAscom, it should be configured exactly the same way.Sent from my mobile using Tapatalk, so please excuse the speeling and granma!
