Which DVD / Video Series to watch ?

The wifey is working 3 nights a week and I have started to buy DVD sets to watch with all things astronomical.

I have

Wonders of the Solar System

Wonders of the Universe

Carl Sagan Series

Are there any others you would recommend.

Anything will go from public understanding to deep deep indepth.

It's not strictly astronomical, but "When We Left Earth" is a pretty immense series.

The Planets BBC series from 1999 is a must! And there's also the Universe series from History Channel if you're into hi-tech visual effects.

You could also catch up with the sky at night the bbc website has many old shows to watch. and utube is worth a search

If you want non Astro - was watching some of the Blue Planet episodes earlier - brilliant series.

History Channels 'Universe', Series 1, 2, 4 and 5. Series 3 went a bit "weird" IMO.
