Extension Tube .

I want to start taking images with my DSLR & frac

ive already got a 1.25 T mount camera adapter & getting a t ring

but have told i might need a extension tube to bring the camera out

far enough to get focus where can i one from anyone got any pics

I'd be surprised if you needed an extension tube to help reach focus, the usual problem is getting enough IN focus..

Which refractor are you using?

The extension tube usually replaces the diagonal for imaging.

With a DSLR you may not need one ( The body of the DSLR with T ring is already 55mm)

Check it out first.

I bought a W.O refractor secondhand with a diagonal, and had to buy an extension tube to be able to get focus on an EOS. I think you need the tube as it replaces the right angle - removing this brings the focus in.

If you already have the 1.25" to T thread adaptor then a straight extension may be cheaper. The eyepiece projection tube you show would also work....
