Can someone please tell me the distance (in mm) from the TOP of the baseplate to the TOP of the focuer tube, when all the way in?

do you mean top of the baseplate to the top of the 1.25" adapter? if you do it's approx 75mm.

That's what worried me and why i've held off buying another.

oooh, I've found another advantage of OOUK scopes - the focuser hole is only 64mm.

So far struck out at FLO and Telescope House for the adaptor plate (for 200P) but ....

emailed SnS and they told me I could get one when astroboot is back ..... which would maybe next week!

Don't hold you breath! I ask every time I order something and get the same reply. There is no doubt they are making efforts to improve their customer relations but they still have a long way to go before they reach the standards of FLO.
