Prom animation from Wednesday 5th May

Wednesday was the last of a long run of sunny days up here on the Moray coast and I've been very busy imaging through my ETX125 with a white light filter and with my webcam on my PST.

I took a dozen 30 second .avi files of a prom and animated them with K3CCDTools.

It has taken me since then to work out how to process the .avi files and to turn the resulting images into an animated GIF.

Looks like you need to click on the thumbnail to see the animation.

Hi Antony,

That wasn't a flare, it was just a prominence.

One part of it did detach later in the day but I didn't see that.

Still have all my data from May 1st to 4th to go through but 3 football matches and a Grand Prix to watch tomorrow.

Busy, busy but my wife doesn't believe me!!
