jayjt29
Following on from Jnc71106 thread on here and many others in the past, i had a stab @ imaging Vega last night. The first time using a DSLR with my scope. After 2 hours and many many many images i have this:1 single 6 second exposure, iso 1600. Everyone has to start somewhere!Jay
yeti monster
Lovely, Vega is Mrs. Yetis favourite, although she doesn't know where to find it....

ollypenrice
In image capture there is only focus and tracking. That is in focus very sharply indeed. You're winning.Olly
jayjt29
Thanks Olly,I have some duel axis motors, but they dont seem to be upto much or should i say my polar alignment isnt!Might have another go tonight.Jay
Revs
Good first image, Jay. As Olly said, the focus is bang on!
jayjt29
Cheers Revs, it turns out that it was the duel axis motor stopping me getting more than 6 second exposures or rather me for not tightening one of the grub screws up tight! Hopefully the first of many DSO's in my new found and very interesting hobby!Jay
