Colourful Moon Mosaic

Hi, Here's my first full Moon mosaic consisting of 26 panes imaged with an SPC880 prime focus on SW250.

The cloudy mirk came over as I got half way through and I've lost a bit of colour at the top and the obvious missing bit lower right but still I was well pleased.

Processed in Registax V6, PS and ICE and reduced 50% in size.

I cant wait to try a barlow next time.

I just ramp up the saturation and adjust the hue so it looks right.

Very nice! I never tried coloured moons till I got the Atik - wasn't sure how it would turn out with the webcam but seeing your shot it's worked fine.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I was never very interested in imaging the moon but since doing this mosaic I can't wait until it rises again.

I rushed taking the captures which is probably why I missed the small bit but now I've gained more interest I'll take more time and try to get sharper features.

Very nice
