    My Skywatcher Skyhawk has the Bird Jones design but I love it. Never had any issues colimating or viewing. I'm sure ones day I'll upgrade but not thinking of it yet.

    I have also done the Open Learn course, The. night sky: Orion.it was very good also.

    There is a schedule but you can work faster if you want to. The Moons of the Solar System course is 8 weeks, but could be done much quicker.

    Ditto on both of those. The Open Learn courses are good as a start, currently doing the Moons of the Solar system course.

    Hi all, After 2 years of no use the rubber O ring that holds my finderscope in the mount has perished. Does anyone know the size and where I can get new ones. Or is there an alternative solution?

    Hi all, I was wondering if anybody has got rid of the slow motion cables from their Equatorial mounts and replaced them with knobs instead? If you did where did you get them from?

    After a few years of neck problems and surgery to remove a disc, and 2 years reconstitution it I'm back. The trusty 114mm Newt is out of the loft and I've forgotten everything . Is it an age thing? So back viewing the forum and I'm sure asking stupid questions again. And of course the clouds are back and it's raining, sorry everyone. 😩 Clear skies soon 🙏
