  1. same problem here loking at a daystar ds 60 lunt 40 or lunt 50 for imaging but not sure which button to press so pressing none at the minute ,watching this thread with interest
  2. Hi all looking at a solar setup but just wondered what you would recommend ,already have a C8 edge which i think is a no no,and i already have a ts optics quad 100mm,just wondered what you guys recommend/suggest for the most cost effective/image quality route would be thanks
  3. hi must say im getting obsessed with flats,i know nina tells you the average adu of a flat frame with its wizard but how do i check certain parts of the image itself if that makes sense thanks
  4. im using a tracing panel light for the top one and a dedicated geoptic light panel for the bottom using nina flat frame wizard on both ,its just that the bottom one looks more even to me after i have stretched them both?
  5. testing different ways of capturing flats with nina,which would you choose 1 top left then right stretched then second bottom left then to the right stretched thanks both within adu values

Thank you very much Ivor i think youve hit the nail on the head with various comments,im using the c8 edge now for a while instead of my ts optics,which doesnt help and the sombrero was very low just above a bungalow and maybe just below my obsy wall,add that to a few low clouds and my lack of pixinsight skills adds to something im not going to achieve,just done a very quick process with just 3x5 mins worth of subs LRGB with NGC 4565 and got this so dont think my processing is a million miles off(for me anyway)??.Any thoughts?Once again thank you

  16. in fact just tried them and they are not working now,did the ini update you suggested in a previous post a while ago and seem to be working now,first time ive tried for a few weeks,thanks....really need to try having a go with different data but worried about messing my working system up ,any suggestions on what would be the easiest to have a go at,does EUMETCastView process any data i am likely to be receiving ,cheers Alan
