  4. well after fitting my reducer to my imaging train in another topic ,i tried tonight to reset up the system, now i focused the main ccd but then could not focus the oag(although the oag camera was at the bottom of the oag) ,i had to move the focuser in by about 12mm to focus the oag, which then meant the main ccd could not be focused, any ideas guys, its like the oag could do with moving to the other side of the reducer then the oag camera adjusted well out
  5. hi guys just wondered what to look for when setting back distance up on an imaging train ,is it the sharpness of the focus?
  6. the reducer states it needs 55/56mm back focus from the shoulder of the reducer to ccd ,my 414ex has 13.5 to ccd so that only leaves 42.5mm for the filter wheel and oag???? any ideas guys
  7. hi all when i purchased my ts optics some time ago it came with the following reducer https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p10070_TeleVue-0-8x-Brennweitenreduzierung-fuer-Flatfield-Apos.html im using the scope with the set up below, the 414ex , filter wheel and oag then straight into the scope ,its never been installed and just wondered if it was worth adding to the train and the difference it would make to imaging time (if i can find out how and where to fit it in the imaging train) well decided i was going to try and fit so can anyone tell me where it goes and what are the important measurements thanks photo added
