  1. Snowed here today. Too cold for astronomising - if you are a wuss!  So I've had a lot of warm bread, molten cheese and the best part of a bottle of Chardonnay for dinner. Now sitting happily twixt sleep, a bar of chocolate and TV.

      Jim, I had clearly over done the wine when I posted!

      Late afternoon today I noticed Venus very bright against a very blue sky.  My big imaging rig is still out of commission but towards the end of the month I might have a go at Venus with my 90mm Mak on my Star Adventurer mount.

      Yes seen it out the front window, pity as my mount faces out the back windows   lol.  Nice and bright, I was itching for the clouds to move off the coast eastwards just a mile or two :)
