  1. Also there is this one, single frame processed in Adobe Lightroom
  2. If someone wants I can send ZIP file containing all the images. Someone more experienced could get a lot better result, would really appreciate it
  3. Moon few nights ago, staked with Registax 6, can't quite stack them right and I use too much of waves... SW Evostar 90, 25mm + Barlow 2x

As Pixies says m57 is really amazing thing to observe and relatively easy to find. It was my first deep space object to find 😁

Welcome to SGL mate! That’s a pretty decent scope. Clear skies!
  6. Nice photo mate, what scope did you use and what phone?
  7. Thanks, used Night Camera from App Store, it was for free. I think Barlow was before the Prism.
  8. Just remember focal length/ eyepiece = magnification
  9. 900/10 gives you magnification of 90 times, you should use your lowest powered eyepiece which I assume is 25mm. Target objects at least 100-200m away.. Or simply you could target Moon now 😁
  10. @Camissa Welcome to SGL! As you will find here a lot of experienced folks that can help you with what ever you need help with. That is some serious scope, I like it Also happy retirement and may the skies be clear!
  11. @Mike9788 Hey mate, welcome to beautiful hobby of ours. I had the same problem and this video helped me a lot Don’t be afraid once you figure it out to dissamble it and do it all over again. That’s how I practiced. It’s quite easy actually. Now I can do it in complete dark surrounding 😁 Clear skies!
  12. Gotta love it, but to be honest and I am not sure why but Jupiter is closer to my heart. Probably because it was the first ever thing I saw in a scope.. Thanks mate, yeah and it was just over the roof plus there are some cables hanging from roof that were disrupting my views.. Also there adapter that is DIY in which i can’t stick 10mm close enough to phone so had to use digital zoom. Thanks a lot mate, was impressed myself also 😁
  13. No stacking, point and shoot. iPhone 5s, SW Evostar 90, 25mm and 2x Barlow. Also used digital zoom of the phone.
  14. Use red light or sit in car and use it's inside light to check myself, although that means you have to take another 20min after that to get your eyes used to dark again..
  15. So adapter from 2" to 1.25' is indeed also needed.
  16. @keyboardBlondie Thanks for the info mate, it is very useful! So literally I need just the T ring? As I wouldn't need the adapter from 2" to 1.25"..
  17. @keyboardBlondie Hey there mate! Just one question. Did you have to mod your camera? How did you use it? Looking to buy the same camera..
  18. @Nik271 Will have to try the sunglasses option, really interested how will that work, look like.
  19. Not sure if it can handle that kind of magnification 😅
  20. So last night I was observing Mars and I could see it very clearly I mean it's shape and it was quite big for my Evostar 90. But the thing is it was just way to bright. Couldn't see literally any details as it was shinning as it was a full Moon not a planet... Can someone explain why is that?
  21. @PEMS Agree that it is little difficult when you are at the dark site.. But as my current budget is literally 100$ till the end of the month, and this was printed for free I can't say anything bad for it. I've driven to a darker site out of my town and still could manage to navigate with the Atlas. Usually I find summer triangle or Polaris and then when I find interesting constellation search it in Atlas.
  22. Hello there fellow astronomers! I've been using Stellarium (PC) and Sky Map (Android) for learning the Sky, but in few days I am going on a vacation where there is no electricity. So if no electricity how will I know where to look and at what the hell am I looking at? Forgot to mention that I am a complete amateur. So I've stumbled upon a really cool Star Atlas that is completely free to download and can be printed as you can see in pictures that is exactly what I did. I am sure that many of you already have a lot of different software and your own resources where to download a Sky Map, but I really think this one is pretty easy to navigate with. Here is the link to Deep Sky Hunter Star Atlas : Deep Sky Hunter Atlas (click) Direct download link to PDF file: Star Atlas PDF (click) At the bottom of the page there is a link for Detailed list of most deep sky objects plotted in this atlas and Images of ~700 deep sky objects, including all indicated as "best DSO" in this atlas. Hope that you will find this useful as same as I did! Cheers and may the skies be clear!
  23. Tried stacking, but can't quite get it right..
  24. @LeeHore7 This is a single shot of the Moon with Samsung J5, Auto ISO, Auto Focus and Exposure was on Auto also. Maybe i tweaked just a little bit. Could use some tips of getting good shots of planets and moons.
