  1. Thanks Carole , your too kind 😉.. yes please have a fiddle .. I have been messing with it for days , and had enough 😤 I used Sara Wager's version as inspiration , it too has some green but much more blue , but then she has got 56 hours integration time .. 😂... I wish .....
  2. Thank you .. I looked at Sara's wide version , and tried to match the colours she obtained but without the SII filter ..
  3. Hi , yes it is , I processed it as OIII , Ha , OIII . ..
  4. I took this image earlier this month and have been playing with the data , which isn't the best due to high cloud that caused me to loose guiding a few times .. still 6 hrs total integration time . Or is that (Waste of time ) Sorry 🤔 600 sec exposures with Ha and OIII 3nm filters in my QSI583 processed in APP , PS and LR I hope to repeat this target as soon as the clouds permit .. ... ps don't enlarge 😁
  5. Had a couple of good nights here in sunny Essex over the long weekend and I decided as this target was optimal in the night sky for me . my last attempt at his target made me change my direction from OSC to Mono .. as I wanted that whispy gassy look that I seemed unable to attain , though that might have just been me ... anyway this image was taken with my QSI583 with Ha and OIII 3nm filters , and a total integration time of just 4 hrs .. processed with APP ,PS and LR .. The Hubble pallet version prosessed OIII,Ha,OIII - and the second image. Ha ,Synthetic Green ,OIII
  6. Hi Alan , I believe it's also known as Sharpless 101. SH2-101 in Cygnus i haven't tried with a modded Camera , but I'm sure you will get something .. Im sure i have listed a star number , and it should have been HD226868 I believe the nebula is Sh2-101 so I have renamed the pic ..
  7. Well I haven't had very good skies here on sunny Canvey Island , so i`m trying to improve my processing skills .. here`s my Tulip which was taken back in May this year
  8. Hi Stuart , thanks for your comment.. 👍 I don't believe there are flat field issues as there's no elongated stars in these areas , on wider views if this Nebula it does get lighter .. check out Sara's https://www.swagastro.com/sh2-132.html thats my excuse anyway 😂
  9. Had a couple of nights out early this week , but the seeing conditions weren't to good with a full moon and high cloud .. anyway I managed 6.3 hours total integration time on this subject , using Chroma 3nm Ha and OIII filters .. and 600 sec exposures .. processed in APP , PS and LR .. using Carboni's action tools to synthesis the green channel .. the seeing conditions supposed to improve next week so I might hit it again 🤔
  10. Thanks Guys for the comments , had a play and I quite like this ..
  11. Looks good to me Carole , I will have a fIddle myself later 😉 Was there any one colour you chose to adjust in the drop downs ?
  12. I thought I would reprocess in the Hubble pallet .. hope it's worked ?
  13. Hi Rod , I'm hoping it will be clear tonight to gather some more data .. I will have a play with SHO 👍

  17. I started to image the Cocoon Nebula on Tuesday night , using the Ha and OIII already setup in my camera , however when I started to process the image on Wednesday it wasn't going the way I wanted , and would mean changing the filters in the camera to RGB , so for Wednesday night I thought I would have a go at a target perhaps better suited to Ha & OIII .. and the Wizard seemed to be a good option . this isn't finished as I only have Wednesday nights data , but I'm pretty pleased with the data so far .. 12 x 600 sec Ha 9 x 600 sec OIII So 3.5 hours total integration time ..
  18. Hi , thanks for the comment ..👍 It was quite warm during the night When I was taking this shot and The camera wouldn't go below -15 and I was unsure about the effect the temperature would have . I was considering water cooling , but as it didn't seem to have a detrimental effect I probably won't bother ..

Hi , I don't know tbh , I might add some more at some point .
  20. I spent another night out under the stars on sunny Canvey last night , gathering more OIII data of the Bubble Nebula , giving me just over 6 hours of 600 sec exposures with the QSI583.. so I have reprocessed the Ha and OIII data .. and cropped the image slightly differently.. i have also added a Monochrome of the stacked and processed Ha data .
  21. Down a notch or 2 ..for now .. 😉
  22. 😎😎😎😎 Hi Carole .. 😎😎😎😎 i played with this image for ages , it tended to be predominantly orange for some reason . Anyway I want to shoot some better quaility OIII and I will reprocess making it less red 😉
  23. Taken over the last few nights here on sunny Canvey Island 🌴😂.. 3 hours of 600 sec exposures , once again Ha & OIII using Chroma 3nm filters in my QSI583. had trouble trying to cool the camera , could only get it down to -15 instead of the -20 , but it doesn't appear to have caused an issue . the nice clear skies also gave me some of the best guiding I've had ..
