  1. Hi all, just processed the images from the CME 7th February 23. Tried to do an animation, my first try too, lol. Solar Coronal Mass Ejection 070123ellabryant-col-1.mp4 Solar Coronal Mass Ejection 070123ellabryant.mp4
  2. Well done Dave, you caught it too. We are lucky to have witnessed it for sure.
  3. Thanks Michael, much appreciated. Yeah, I nearly missed it.
  4. Many thanks Kon, hopefully by the weekend I'll have processed the data.
  5. Under the title Coronal Mass Ejection 7th February 23 under solar imaging.
  6. Thanks Jeremy, I nearly missed it as was just about to change from HA to WL when I noticed the huge plume of plasma unfolding on the South Eastern limb.
  7. No probs Roberto, encouraging people to come over from the dark side to the light, lol.
  8. See my screenshots for now under CME February 7th 23
  9. Brilliant stuff Alan, I love solar dynamics, something new each day to observe. I've never caught a CME before, really pleased.
  10. Hi all. a coronal mass ejection occured at 13:05UT this afternoon. I only caught the middle of it from about 13.50UT. The plasma plume was developing before my eyes. Fascinating stuff. Screenshots for now. Nigella.
  11. CME apparently. Imaging it for the past half hour. Fascinating.
  12. Heads up watching a large plum of plasma on the sun, amazing
  13. Observed and managed a few image's this evening before the cloud's rolled in. Still looking good with a bright coma and faint defuse tail. Moonlight interfered quite a bit. Supposed to be a better clear night tomorrow and the moon rises a little later so I'll see again. Shot of the screen attached.
  14. Yeah, definitely, lol. Most of my stuff is second hand but the Eq8R Pro mount is new, I thought if it's going to be the last mount I buy I'll get it, lol.
  15. It is an Eq8R Pro mount. Starburst is due to the secondary vains on the newtononian telescope.
  16. Thanks Jeremy, much appreciated. Hope it's clear this weekend to try again.
