  4. Well I've measured 55mm to the centre of the coma to the sensor, that pic looks like the start of the case of the coma to the sensor.think I will post pic with ruler on it .
  5. Just spoke to the shop where I purchased coma for the correct placement. Camera ,filter wheel, coma, scope.? Camera ---------55mm------coma . Is this right it makes sense and I have managed to achieve this . Thanks

  12. Hi all so I'm having something similar to the top of this made up should I go for 4 bolts or 3 bolts ? 8mm steel so it's not going to flex with either of them . Advice please . Thanks
  13. Contemplating getting the eq5 extender and just cutting a piece out the middle then weld back together £74 , or just build a fixed pier £100-£150 app.
  14. I did wander if the eq6 extender would work 8 inch .
  15. Hi all Using a 130pds for imaging pushes the scope back a bit that means it gets close to the pod legs , looking at a extender to raise the scope mount about 4-5 would eleviate this problem unfortunately the eq5 extender is 70 cm. which means u could well need a stall to place scope on . Has anyone found away or a extender to raise it 10-15 cm only. I do have a welder mate but this could be a little crude ( hes a banger racer) . Thanks
  16. so my first real dso and its only stacked no processing and a lot of images weren't great so not used ended up with 57 lights and 10 darks . BUT WELL CHUFFED 😀🥳 bubble stack.TIF bubble stack.TIF

  18. My scooe cover just arrived not another camera unfortunately lol. A coma corrector 🤯 I can put anything else in my image train I have had to cut down my 2-1.25 reducer already just to get focus I will have to drop my filter wheel ( if I'm only doing 1 filter I guess it dont matter). Baader mark iii ordered 🤫
  19. No corrector being used .I know the bubble wasnt central so I will work on that next time , I think I will just focus on this target I believe it's about for a while, I have 5 days astroing in northumberland park 20th oct so nice dark skies should I still use the filter . Ps my scope camera has just arrived so will be able to leave stuff out and save time, should I recalibrate each night ?
  20. I'm ironing 🤫 ,I'm not gonna look until monday thats my next day off work, should I be looking at oxygen filter or scope/cam to small to benefit?
