Oh I think there will be no comparison, I have the same one and it is wonderful, I love how it maintains the optical characteristics of the eyepiece unlike traditional barlow lenses.

Whew! I've heard stories regarding difficult neighbors which is why I make a point to give neighbors the impression I'm a bit of a nut. They're
all weary about voicing petty complaints, I don't abuse it but its good when they think you're a loose canon. Follow my lead, set up a work bench in your back
garden and pretend you are doing some wood work, happy and whistling away. Then when you know they are out and about in their gardens just go into a furious
rage yelling NOOOOO NOOOOOO I MEASURED IT TWICE!!!! while beating the bench to a pulp with a piece of wood before chasing your dog while swinging the wood
around (without harming the dog of course). Soon after you can have a seat with a cup of tea in the garden but make sure they all hear you weep aloud as you
enjoy your tea. This will eliminate any future awkward conversations about the weather, invites to boring children's parties, borrowing of tools, you will be free
to use your camera!.

Currently I only have one scope for planetary which just happens to be a crack shot for lunar too! being a 4" TSA-102 it cools down fairly quickly and is on the border of grab and go/no grab and go lol.
For planetary and double stars which I enjoy very much, it gives me the impression some nights that it was specifically designed to please in these departments which is why I won't be letting it
go, well maybe only for a 120, maybe.

Congratulations! that is one fine looking scope and, I'm sure it will perform every bit as good as it looks! doesn't it feel like you found treasure when a fine scope falls into your hands suddenly!? enjoy that great instrument!

Brilliant images! I especially love how you include the distance markers and earth scale.

then look at the distances that they are from each other in terms of galaxy widths
One note regarding this line may make it even more amazing, keep in mind that using galaxy widths to judge a rough distance between one and the other would only work if these galaxies were on a two dimensional background. In reality one galaxy may look like it is 3 times its with away from the next but, it may me a million times its width in front or behind the next from our POV, this really puts into perspective the enormity of the deep field.

Don’t feel bad Marvin: it took decades for me to appreciate the benefits of refractors and now I am making up for lost time. 😊
As Dave @F15Rules might say, grab one when you can 😊
By snatching up every refractor that crosses his path 😄

Welcome to SGL! be aware that scams on eBay are common, thought I would warn you just in case, that being said the esprit is a great scope. It would be best if you can locate a merchant in your region where you could buy from, have fun searching the forum!.
whats your typical way of capturing the planets

I image planets with the cheapest camera ever (Neximage 5) can be had for under a hundred dollars on the used market, it captures video. As for software again nothing fancy, Icap for capture and Registax for stacking, it is just about the most bare bones method you can do but, it does produce some decent planetary images. Sometimes I have to remind myself not to use the word "imager" when referring to myself as the DSO imagers here on SGL will surely have me drawn and quartered lol.
