That sure qualifies as a record short session, who knew such a fleeting session could be so rewarding!.

What a beautiful spot! one could not ask for more, except maybe a fold up table with some drinks and treats to keep one busy while imaging.

A wonderful image, the amount of stars in this image is dizzying!

That was most definitely not "unscrewed" it was ripped out, what did you unscrew it with? a pneumatic jack hammer?.

The double double is truly a beautiful sight, I was looking at them at 230x Friday night and it was a sight to see as all four were beautiful discs. Up the power and you will notice those "two" stars are actually four. If you are using a C8 this should be a piece of cake. The lowest magnification I could detect them as four stars is 90x in my 4".

A beautiful capture, exposure could not be better as even areas which usually blow out are showing fine detail.

Maybe I should learn to speak Shakespearean English, I would sound like Romeo which might make my wife hesitant to yell at me when I buy more scope stuff. But I can hear it already “dont you where art thou me Mr.!”

Glad it worked well for you. Enjoy the summer/early fall skies, there's lots to see up there right now.
I just find it amusing that Brits call rain barrels water butts. Pork butt, sure; but water butt? Apparently, the term "butt load", which Americans still use, derives from this older meaning of the word, but we have long since forgotten the origin of the term.
Keeping track of all the different meanings of particular words and, how their meanings have changed over time can be a real pain in the butt.

I’m excited about the new camera I ordered, looks like it will be a couple weeks or less, cross fingers. It is a nice planetary imaging camera and, looks sharp too (like that matters) yes it does, we like cool looking things too. Anyone out there use this model? any advice on capture software that works well with it would be appreciated.

Back to the tripod conversation, I have my mind on a berlebach tripod which I think would be smashing and, maybe even lighter than my current skywatcher tripod.
regarding the stain, when the time comes I just know I will be torn between stain if I can choose them as mentioned above.

It's wonderful!

Interesting, don't feel bad as I would have asked the same question, it is a bit confusing as those small screws are arranged in the same manner as collimating screws.
