Yes. It is integrated into the optical design. If when observing, you rotate the eyepiece holder, you will see the view lighten/darken. HTH, Steve

Yes. Both are mentioned in our product description. It is the V2 model so has the most up-to-date specification. Starfield 2" Herschel Solar Wedge V2 It has the ND3 and polariser (a colleague at our warehouse just opened one to check). I wonder why Starfield doesn't refer to the polarising filter in their instructions. I'll mention this when we next speak with them. HTH, Steve

From 21st April 2023, both models have been upgraded to include a robust azimuth roller-bearing assembly 🙂

It is good to hear your soft case arrived safely 🙂 We often use 'industrial black pallet stretch wrap' (not a bin bag) when wrapping soft fabric cases and telescope covers. It is strong, flexible and sticks to itself. Here it is in its natural habitat. It is a similar situation at FLO (sixteen of us). When a container this size arrives, it requires all hands on deck! And lots of caffeine! ☕ The hauliers charge if we don't fully unload within a certain time. But we always do and are extra nice to the drivers, so not a problem 🙂

Weighs only 3.9 kg yet has an 8-13 kg load capacity (with/without counterweight).
