Frankly I object to the sentiment and political nature of the above post.
I'm a natural born recycler. I read the booklet and now it's time to recycle it.
Nothing political about it.

Slomo controls for bins.....
Looks like performing delicate brain surgery. Not sure I'd ever get used to that style of bin observing.
Whatever works for you.

Bought this from somewhere, ordered from someone called UK Telescope.com, invoice appeared to be from USA and delivered from Netherlands
Not cheap but wanted a small power supply for the Star Adventurer plus DSLR dew band and also Quark.
Don't think I'll be using the inverter

Today the Postie brought a letter from the electricity company I'm with (never usually a good thing).
Today however, it was a letter saying that my last three bills has been guesstimated and they enclosed a bank giro transfer for 200 euro.
Happy days. I dashed down town and lodged it in my bank before it had a chance to self destruct.

Only 11 days from FLO to me, that's faster than usual.!
Feels nicely made, nice rubber grip and surprisingly weighty.
Really nice big eye lens, I do like a big eye lens!
Strong green colour to the lens coating, is that good?
Has anyone else got or tried one of these?
I shall impatiently be waiting for dark tonight, the sky is clear and The Pleiades, Hyades and Orion await my new eyepiece! ?
Great eyepiece. Really useful for scanning the sky and star hopping. I have the same EP. It's my favorite.

My mistake. It was my Celestron power tank that came with mains.

The 6SE manual indicates that even the batteries are not supplied, and everything else is "optional".
Batteries are not supplied, but a mains plug should be. Pretty sure I got one with my 8SE.

Irish people are allowed to wear kilts. It's part of our shared history. Not sure I ever would though. I don't have the legs for it. I prefer mine. Who wants to look like Rod Stewart.

What did the postman bring?

Postie brought one of these. It's a 6ft long portable wheelchair ramp so that I can reach the EP of my mini DOB.
LOL
I'm joking. I bought it so I can go to friends houses for dinner and drinks instead of them coming to mine all the time.
It's a very high quality/ construction. Highly recommend it to anyone. 129.99 from Amazon.
