  1. You will get more replies if you post this in the Beginners help and Advice section. you should also include the type of telescope and filter you are using. Remember never look at the Sun without using a solar filter and never use a solar eyepiece filter. These filters become fragile when hot and can easily crack allowing unfiltered light directly into your eye causing permanent damage.

  2. The Skynax Pro MCT focuses by moving the primary mirror so replacing the existing focuser may be difficult. Some MCT and SCT have aftermarket replacement dual speed focuser knobs but I don't think the Pro180 has that option. You can fit a dual speed crayford focuser for about £120.

    You might want to try posting in the main section rather than your blog to get more responses.

  3. Most telescopes are fairly similar in their operation. A lot of different brands come out of the factory so the manuals will be much the same. If you take a look at the Optical Vision wesite you might find a similar telescope there. OVL have a manuals download section you will be able to browse.
