    Sky was clear in the afternoon, was very hopeful, but as it got closer to sunset high level clouds began to whisp in, decided it was not even worth it to set up as i had to be up at 4am the next morning

      Last night was beautiful! tried to get an image with my ligicam but i have a feeling i wont be able to acheve focus with the camera, cound not even get venus to show up, and it ws blinding to look at! I figured that would happen because to get focus during the day i am have to have the focus tume almost resting on the focu assymbly

      it sounds like you dont have the right in-focus travel, i dont know if a barlow would help but it may be worth a try.
