I did see that someone has posted somewhere about finding a match for the Baader gear, but perhaps that was actually Adrian.

I use the steel track on my 200PDS with a teckydave focuser. As you may be able to see from the photo it has a very useful dovetail on the body of the steeltrack to help attachment. I cut a clamp in half and drilled/taped so it could clamp into the dovetail. The belt needed is a HTD 3mm pitch all available on ebay.

dismantled my stripboard version I was not happy with it and ordered some boards from JLCPCB well 10 to be exact all for the price of 22 euros, Ordered 1st Nov and arrived today from China fast delivery. Now to get this little project under way nice looking board. Only problem is with the diodes with the larger dia legs.
if you have a spare board would you sell me one?

Thank you StevieDvd
Just to clarify you say
"Software PA alignment basically does that by using your main scope/camera and platesolving"
However I plan to be using my guide scope for that as I don't believe my DSLR can be used for this?
Hence my question, does my main scope and guide scope need to be precisely aligned to the same spot?i use my Nikon d7000 or Canon 700d to plate solve and PA no problem

video you link to is using a 3x barlow

Have you updated to the latest version of the build?
these issues are similar to my early builds of Astroberry but it has been stable for a while now.
run from the terminal sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade && sudo apt dist-upgrade
hope that helps

Mine has the USB port. Other than taking a while to get it working with EQMOD the only issue I have is USB cable comes out of the USB port quite easily. Not a major issue but I've had it come out accidently a couple of time. Works perfectly and very handy but given choice I prefer the standard port with eq-direct cable as it clips in.
they supplied a plastic P clip to tie up the USB cable to stop it falling out
not a great fix tbh
i do only use it for firmware though as I use a Bluetooth dongle to connect to it from astroberry

its also used to update the firmware rather than the serial port connection on the earlier models
I have the Pro R I didn't know it had encoders!

oops wasn't me honest!
Thankyou for placing your order.
VX14-10pv. VX14 Optical tube assembly 1/10pv upgrade

Just updated the motor control firmware on the mount so will give it a go next time I can see some clear sky
it was one step behind so unlikely to fix it but always worth a try.

Hi my EQ6 R Pro does this exactly the same
plate solve to a star, sync then park and try to go back its a fair way off
it also does do the pause sometimes its as if it gets to a point then thinks oops i went the wrong way
mine is mains powered with a 600w psu so i don't see power as an issue
think its a software glitch but as it doesn't cause me a major issue i haven't spent time diagnosing yet

have it runnng quite slick now with either a Canon or Nikon DSLR or my zwo planetary cam
all via vnc on my rpi4 8gb in my kitchen

Hi everyone hope you can help
How do I go about calculating the FOV when using a X4 powermate?
my plate solving fails when I fit one on so I am guessing the FOV settings need to change unless I am missing something else?
many thanks
