Got this yesterday and this morning my flocking material from FLO should be here just waiting for the springs then I will flock it.
Only bought 2 pieces as they are a metre long it won't be far short I am a little worried about the circumference as with both pieces it will only be 90cm I need to measure the inside of the tube.

Yes, as @neil phillips says it’ll possibly shift a little and that’s not a bad thing - good point. After a while you get familiar with that and know what’s acceptable.
When I first had my primary mirror out I put it back in with the clips too loose. After collimating and playing “chase the doughnut” for a good 45 mins I realised what was going on.
This is shifting quite a bit the whole donut out so definitely need something.

Hi
10" mirror so you need decent springs. We'd recommend 6 off, 1.6mm wire; 3 replacements and a further 3 passive springs using the locking screws as retainers.
These guys are good; less than a week to Spain. Not sure where you are but if you're in a rush, ask for local shipping at the checkout.Full list of all sizes, here.
Cheers and HTH
I have sent for some which were suggested to me from boson21 but thank you so much really appreciate it.

What a brilliant report and a wonderful night after reading about Tegmine I really wish I had not sold my 5" I split it several times with that never in my Tal must try the celestron.
I really enjoy doubles and your report brought the night alive.
Thank you for posting

First thing I did was to change the secondary grub screws to thumb ones I have replaced the red dot as I needed to be a contortionist to look through, with my back not good.
I have a Telrad and a 4" riser much easier, kindly sent to me by Maurice (banjaxed).
I went to the Brecon Beacons from the 4th to the 8th of May forecast was lousy but it changed and Saturday night was clear I set up and just checked the collimation I had previously collimated it its was out again that's when I decided to upgrade the springs. I have put a lazy Susan on it and its much much easier to turn and hold position now next I will be flocking it.
I do wish though that the app could have Sky Safari incorporated in it. The app does not give you a great amount of objects once you have been through the list you have to search stuff out, I dont mind researching and writing objects down but with Sky Safari you can do a list in that and go through it.
Anyway springs will be here between the 26th of May and the 5th of June I may get the flocking material as I will have the cell out.

I had a 150p and a 200p I was always tweaking them, I sold the 150 and got springs for the 200 a friend on here (Shane) who flocked my 150p for me said screw the collimation screws in all the way then back them off 1 and a half turns I did this with my 200p with the upgraded springs and it held collimation for the next 18months before a stupidly sold it.
I had been to a few meetings as well so it was rocked and rolled in the car but was spot on every time oh I do miss that scope.

Yes I thought as much I need to change the springs which I am trying to source every time I move the dob it goes out a bit, only takes a tweak get it in but with better springs it will hold collimation better and I dont need to touch the secondary at all now.

My first scope was a 150p on a eq3-2 mount had it for 3 years had so much fun with it I upgraded to a 200p on a EQ5 goto.
I sold the 200p and I so regret it, I have a couple of refractors now and a 10" dob.
