I had the Google pixel 7 pro I was in town with the wife stood at the car wife wanted something out the boot phone was on the roof.
The wife got a phone call saying our son had been taken to hospital after having a seizure so we jumped in the car and drove off.
I had the phone 3 weeks not got it back and car and house insurance won't cover it so I'm paying £900 for nothing.
Before I was looking forward to using the excellent camera.

Last couple of tweaks has sorted out your secondary mirror 👍. Make sure you nip up the secondary screws . Just double check with a cap that the primary doughnut is perfectly centered with the hole in the cap. Well done @wookie1965. Persistence does pay dividends.
I have the donut dead center using the cap that was the easy part.
As said hardest part was the secondary when first started it kept clicking back in position it was only when I took it off I found the three indents in the holder.
After putting in the washer and the milk carton washer it was much easier.
Thank you all for your help.

I’d forgotten about the BSTs. Most of us have tried those, I still have the whole set and they’ll be passed on to my kids (like it or not) for when they show an interest. IMO the 15mm is a cracker, followed by the 5mm. Excellent low cost eyepieces with a very XW feel and eye relief mechanism. 👍🏻
15mm is the best My goto eyepiece I love my 10mm vixen silver top as well the BST 5mm I never got on with I sold that and got a 4.5mm TMB.

I will take look tomorrow but it would be a lot easier if placed a piece of paper behind the focuser so that I could see all the edge of the sight tube.
I will take another picture with the yellow card in for you and thank you really appreciate you taking the time to check it for me.

Well I bought a laser collimator from moggi1965(Morris) to make collimation easier.
Wondered why kept slipping back into the same place took the secondary off and low and behold three indents.
So rubbed it down cut out a piece of milk carton and found a 1mm thick washer so now the three collimation bolts won't be digging in anymore and collimating the secondary was a breeze.
Hopefully check it out again tonight.

I've seen a similar effect caused by observing something that is not far from the edge of a roof or building as well. It's easy to loose track of your local issues when concentrating on the view through the eyepiece.
My experience of out of collimation newtonians is that the symptoms are a lack sharpness / resolution and contrast which are all improved when the collimation is more accurate.
I can't say that I have seen stars turned into streaks though collimation errors
I checked the mirror clips undid the second one and saw a visible shimmer across the mirror so had tightened the mirror clips too much.

It was more to do with the soft metal of the secondary holder how the indents can get so deep when the 3 bolts are not screwed right in I don't know. But I had the same problem on my Skywatcher 6" and 8" that's how I knew what to do.
Thank you once again I really do appreciate it.
