I have one 2" ep I dont use it I have a 10mm Vixen silver top and the views are crisp and clear I barlow that with my Tal x2 barlow for higher mag and its a delight to use. I have a 11mm Televue plossl which is very similar I stupidly sold my 20" televue plossl. My go to eyepiece is the 15mm BST that is a superb ep for the money.

I dont know about astrophotography but if you have aligned the polar scope up with the mount like you said on a TV aerial to check put the end of the aerial on the ring in the polar scope either you or someone else rotate the weight bar and make sure the end of the aerial stays on the circle all the way around.
if you use android download Synscaniit from here https://synscaninit-2.soft112.com/ that will show you everything to put in the handset and Polaris position once you have done that do your 2 or 3 star alignment and it should be accurate.

Get it from their store direct and it's a lot less. Free worldwide shipping, though I paid £5 extra on the site for clearance at import. £59 puts it in the realms of the nexyz:
Thank you for that much appreciated.

@wookie1965 Hi wookie, did you mean you haven't been able to view M51 from your home/location? and was the "wow" a reaction to my pic? If yes then thank you so much for such kind remarks my friend! It would have been a lot better if the wind hadn't ruined about 70% of my subs! lol. @happy-kat very kindly made some really helpful suggestions to tackle said issues with my subs so I'm going to try them all out at the first opportunity!
Clear Skies!
Wes ( Bortle 7 )
Yes Wow for the picture and yes I have never seen M51 from home or the Leo trio I have even purchased a 10" dob, had a couple of clear nights here but the wind was horrendous blowing a hooley no point setting up as the scope would of been all over the place.

I have seen subtle colours in what was my Meade 127 and especially in my Tal 100rs cracking multiple.

Thank you for these going to check if I have them in my lists if not I will definitely give them a go, I will look for them in Haas.

Lucky you I am yet to see the Leo trio from home in 11 years since I got my first scope.
