  1. There are those of us that own a Berlebach tripod and the rest that wish they owned one. 😁😁😁

But seriously they are worth every penny and I’ve never regretted buying one. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  2. The Baader Diamond Steeltrack is very, very good and has a much higher max load than the Moonlite as well as being more durable. The drawtube of the Mmonlite has just a plain anodised bottom surface whereas the Baader has a diamond coated one that will last for many years. I’ve had both but find the Baader is simply a better buy. The Moonlite looks nice but you are paying a lot more for the looks.

  3. I know that asking you what ypu want to look at is a bit difficult to answer. A question that is better answered after you have done some observing and found out what you like best.

You will soon notice that most on SGL have more than one scope as no one scope does it all. Don’t worry about it and if you want to get another scope later on that just means you are normal. 😁😁😁

Scope quality does vary a lot more or less based on price. I love my StellaMira 80mm f/10 but that is out of your budget right now. A moon pic taken with it.

  4. The Baader Steeltrack is a good option. in the same class as the Moonlite but will handle more weight and is more durable. One of these days Moonlite will do something about using only an anodised surface of the drawtube instead of something like Baader’s diamond coated surface that simply doesn’t wear.
