    Hi am I able to use the ZWO ASI 120MC-S USB 3.0 Colour Camera with the Nexstar 8se ? For moon shots and planets ? Or do I need to upgrade the mount first ?

    Have a look at the skywatcher 127 or the Celestron 127 ( bit more expensive as it uses better software) but it’s a good scope I believe for beginners wanting to take images on a budget - you’ll just need an EOS ring I think I would avoid the Celestron 31045 AstroMaster 130 EQ Reflector

    Well I took the plunge today and bought the Celstron Nexstar 8SE - only one stockiest in the UK I could find who had 3 in stock, it arrives on Tuesday so can’t wait! I’ll report back as the first opportunity of my first experience!
