wxsatuser
The California Nebula. This was basically a guiding test for my new Lacerta MGEN.Although PHD and the Starshoot guider were ok, I was never quite happy withthe results and the odd glitchs with the laptop.Anyway, a good test was 10minute subs on the California Nebula.Well pleased, stars perfectly round and no glitchs at 10minutes.All I have to do now is set it up for dithering and controlling the 60Da.Canon 60Da EF 200mm L f/4 ISO 800 11x 600secsA quick run through PI with a masked stretch. Thanks for looking

wxsatuser
Nice image. Welcome to very exclusive MGEN club! Tim. Thanks for the nice comments everyone. The Lacerta looks like a good buy, big thumbs up to Teleskop Express, very efficient as usual.Once I get the dslr control and dithering working it should make a big difference to the images. Here are the stars for a 10minute sub.
