July 29, 2015: Strange sighting at Loch Ness

Made a really strange observation from my current holiday location on the northern edge of Loch Ness: A strange bright orb about 0.5 deg in diameter could be seen around 11 AM. Narrow-band observation in H-alpha using the SM-II 60 showed a lot of surface detail and various "promnences". The locals claimed that in all their years around Loch Ness they had never seen such a sight

I have never seen it from Leicester its all doom and gloom here just lately.

Must be a mirage. Don't get that sort of thing in Scotland.
