'Lightest' version of Stellarium ???

Does anyone know which is the 'lightest' version of Stellarium ??

I am wanting to use it on a machine that has very low processing power and a minimal graphics card (Panasonic Toughbook).

The machine runs CdC very well but wont run the latest version of Stellarium.

CdC controls the mount very well but I still find Stellarium virtually essential for finding my way round.

You could try an older version, starting with the oldest, released in 2004!

Do bear in mind that older laptops/GFX may not support OpenGL; an ancient 'beefed up'  Futjitsu I have won't run Stellarium at all for that reason.

Why not try the older stellarium install.

I read a part a few days ago about the older version got around their lack of graphic card support.
