i paid a camera technician £20 and told him what i wanted to do

That is good, I have been wrestling with this guy for a while and have tons of data but it is not coming out as good as this.

Fantastic image Gareth and much greater detail than I squeezed with my modded 1100d at iso800 x 300 secs. I suspect my sensor will generate more noise, but will have another go @ 1600. Great processing to boot - lovely job :-)
