angle finder.....good!

Recommended Posts

evening all, my new finder arrived yesterday, a skywatcher 9x50  angle one. took it out into the garden to compare it against the straight one. could only see blurry blobs, a bit disappointed so started examining it and discovered it can have its focus adjusted, I didn't know as nothing was mentioned in the paperwork and the end was screwed up tight so I thought it was fixed. anyway I am pleased as I will no longer have a nights viewing then a week with ralgex! why aren't these standard?

The focusing mechanism of these finders is not included in most of the instructions I've read on them, which is a bit daft  :rolleyes2:

They are a good thing to have though and are included with some scopes.

Wish they were standard on scopes or supplied with no finder at all so I dont have to pay for something I wont use. Would save my back

The more you pay for a scope, the less accessories you tend to get as they assume you will either already have them or will add your own preferences.
