OSC images captured in Nebulosity need to be debayered as the raw image shows each separate filter as grey scale. You need to pre-process each image under the batch menu it is demosaic and square raw images this combines the separate RGGB pixels into one colour pixel this needs to be done for your images prior to stacking.

This may have been asked before, but how does one process OSC camera (SXVR M25C)  images into 'glorious' colour!

The "secret" is to start with a lot of good, well-focused, perfectly guided, long exposure subframes.

If you have good starting material you can process them into exceptional final images. However without a solid basis to work from you won't be able to get those stand-out, exhibition quality pictures.

If you stick with either of the two you should be getting good results from them. AA5 has some neat tools for sorting out funny shaped stars too.

The main issue is debayering, there's many ways to debayer. PI VNG and DSS are some of the best - they create vectors so that the colouring can be interpolated without just using the closest colour.
