M66 through the haze

Hi all,

Managed a few hours through the haze at M66 in Leo, had a load of problems with my guiding though so only managed 7 out of 25 subs, still I think it came out ok under the circumstances.

7 X 5min subs at ISO 800, taken using my modded 450D and Vixen VC200L

Very nice - just seems to float in the middle of the image!

Hmm this one is an interesting target, there's a good amount of dust in the extended arms that's faint but with more data could be interesting.. *adds to mental list of targets, along with M64 and M64*

Thanks Nick, and your right, its looks a great target on its own, not just as part of the Leo triplet.
