Enlarged focus knob on Nexstar SE

The fairly small diameter of the focus knob on my Nexstar 4SE means that fine adjustments are not so easy. Elsewhere I have seen references to use of Marmite jar tops, etc, but the slow rate at which I use Marmite might mean a long wait to try this solution.

The knob measures 22mm, which just happens to be one of the sizes of plastic pipe available, so the use of various pushfit attachments is presented.

I have put on a Plumbsure plastic Pipe Collar (it's a cosmetic thing to cover the hole in a wall a pipe goes into) which has a diameter of 67mm, or ~3 times the knob. It can be clicked or pushed over the focus knob. And it comes in white or chrome, so you might be able to find it in the dark if it falls off. Or I'll train the dog to look for it.
