Hello

Can anyone tell me how to get the rotating head off this webcam without damage to cam or self, so as to fit a 1.25 adaptor?

Me too, and guess what... I broke one of the little leg thingys :shock:

I'm dreading even attempting to split the barrel for the SC mods!!!!!!

I did the SC mod on my webcam - dead easy, though it hasn't worked since!

The big problem that I had was that the USB red wire was the negative and the red one positive. Let all the magic smoke out I think.

Creative Labs EX pro to be specific.

I managed to break 2 of those leg things - part of one of them is still rattling around inside the casing. I tried splitting the barrel so I could remove the offending plastic, but after I heard a distinct crack, sheer terror won over courage and I put down the screwdriver and stepped away defeated. Thankfully it still seems to work though...
