Take a look at this site Lat & Long Finder. Zoom in to your location (Liverpool) and then centre your street/house in the window. Read the coordinates below. For Liverpool the numbers you need to input into the handset will read something like 002 59 W, 53 24N. Enter them in that format and order.

Or use google earth - place a pointer over your house and it will give you your co-ordinates

Metcheck say Liverpool is: Lat : 53.4N, Lon : 3.0W

The Longitude may need to be input as -3.0, some use +-, others use E, W.

If it does not ask/offer E/W then I suggest -3.0 for longitude.

Which suddenly makes me suspect that this could the answer to another post I read 2 days back. Just no idea which post or where.

The link Peter sent you is excellent - but be aware they give you 2 sets of coordinates - make sure you enter the right ones in your scope - (as I didn't) - the scope will probably want the ones which end in N/S or E/W - the other ones are decimal which, as you will see are different
