First go at the Leo Cluster

Well lovely night last night so had a go at M66 cluster.

90x90s subs and 5 darks.

Overall quite happy with result but plan to do a bit more. As always comments welcome.

Great image there mate! really nice field of view and subtle detail in each of the galaxies!

Slight vignetting at the edges but nothing gradient Xterminator couldn't sort or even using flats if you are that way inclined

I just used GradientXterminator (Photoshop plugin) to even out the colour gradient and tweaked the curves a bit. As I said, with the original TIF I am sure you could get a lot more out of it.

Did you use flats? If not, do so next time and a few more darks (say, 20).

OK had another bash and am a little happier now. Bit more detail and better colours I think.
