William Optics APO triplet refractors

We have 3x William Optics FLT 110 DDG and 2x William Optics FLT 98 DDG telescopes in stock at pre-increase prices.

The FLT 110 features the highly regarded f7 TMB Triplet objective with a Ohara FPL-51 ED element housed in the latest CNC machined lens cell with safety ball-bearings. The telescope tube is also CNC machined and is fitted with the new upgraded heavy-duty 3.5" rotatable Linear DDG focuser with stainless steel inserts and ball-bearings on both sides to allow heavy loading without image shift. A William Optics TMB Field Flattener is available for use with a DSLR or large imaging sensor.

The FLT 98 has the same upgraded DDG focuser but features a fast f6.3 premium quality air-spaced triplet objective designed by a leading Russian designer. Japanese Ohara FPL-53 glass is used for the ED element. Mechanically and optically this telescope compares favourably with the very best yet is surprisingly affordable! It is one of only a few telescopes that can handle a full format DSLR when used with the optional TMB Field Flattener. It will also cover APS sized sensors and the popular Atik 383L Plus and Starlight Xpress H16 when used with the William Optics Flattener IV at F5.
