BIRD WATCHING!!

Managed to get out last night and do a bit of imaging dispite the full moon.

Target to start the night was NGC 457 Owl Cluster. 200mm Newt at prime focus using Canon 350d.

That's a beautiful cluster image Alan. I got rid of the light pollution using Russell Croman's gradient exterminator then tweaked the levels and curves. some very nice star colour and, as Philip says, tight stars. Excellent

Taken on board the comments. So had a go at reprocessing (still on the learning curve here) and I think I have better colours and got rid of the L/P. Anyway what do you think?
