Hi James,

I live the other side of the airport in Hounslow and have to contend with not just yellow skies but blinding streetlights too.

I'm afraid I haven't found anywhere nearby where I would want to hang around at night - let me know if you get lucky.

In the meantime I keep myself amused with double stars, the moon and planets which even our LP can't spoil.

I thought I was experiencing bad light pollution but given your circumstances, it throws my troubles into the shade (but not enough to observe from:D)

Hope you can locate something nearby but it probably sounds like you'll need to travel some distance to shake it off.

My girlfriend lives in Hounslow so I'm familiar with both sides of the runway!
