Barlow

Hello SGL Community,

I am currently after a 3x Barlow, and after researching the best choice, was sad to see the Tal ones are out of stock till about mid august.

Could you maybe suggest other quality 3x Barlows?

If you can get hold of one, the Antares 3x is pretty good quality and Japanese optics:

Antares Antares 1.25" 3x Barlow lens

Not my favourite retailer by the way but the only one I could find that stocks these (and they look out of stock I'm afraid).

Other than that the TAL is the only one in that price range that I'd be confident in recommending.

You could get a used Tele Vue 3x which are superb for that price if you are patient.

I think you'll struggle for under £50, tbh. There don't seem to be that many about with a recognisable brand name.

There's the Antares 3x, or the Revelation 2.5x (neither of which I've used). A few people still have the Tal ones still advertised on their websites, so perhaps they're still in stock in some places?
