Mercury - 22nd March

This is my third shot at Mercury. (The other two are in a previous thread.) These are the best two results I got. I post both for their contrast as one appears the more filtered.

As the second one is less interfered with by atmosphere and is the higher up version (I think), I suppose that one is technically the better of the two.

Well done for capturing this elusive target and a good attempt at getting the phase. Not easy !!

Yeah, there's really not a big window for getting the shots in but I'm glad I was able to snap it around its best viewing time for the year. Would be nice to fit more in today as well...
