There is the tiniest sliver of moon tonight

Just been out to have a look with my son. The earthshine is clear and the sky looks less murky than it has been for ages.

Here's hoping the clouds hold off until after we've got them in bed so I can get out with the scope. Actually it looks like as long as you're in England and west of Greenwich the seeing could be quite reasonable tonight. Bah. I have so much to do work-wise tomorrow

Yes James, a very pleasant view after all this cloud. I looked earlier on but the sky was too bright. My wife eventually noticed it and called me out! .

I must say the slither of moon this evening was really awesome. Watched it through my 16x50 binos as the cloud rolled in from the east blotting it out. It was just like evening twilight was smiling at me!
