Supernova in M51

This is back from June, but worth noting for 3 reasons

This is a link to a recently discovered SuperNova in M51 (Spiral Galaxy in Canes Venatici - 13:29.9 +47:12).

Firstly - the guy was an amateur astronomeur

Secondly - he used a f/4 Newtonian reflector

Thirdly - he used a DSI to capture his image

Here he is with his scope and story!
