Skywatcher AZ4 Alt-Az mount weight limit

Does anyone know what the weight limt of this mount is:

Alt-Azimuth - Skywatcher AZ4 Alt-Az mount

Im looking to use it on either of these two scopes:

Skywatcher Startravel 120 or the Skywatcher Startravel 150

hi steve it says the maximum rated payload is a skywatcher 150pl I don't know if that's any help

I've used a 20lb 6" mak-newtonian on it but only for a short time - it was overloaded but OK up to around 120x. My 4" F/6.5 Vixen refractor is rock solid on it. I reckon the ST 120 would be fine but the 150 would be a bit too much.

I run a Startravel 120 on a Synscan AZ goto mount- which is quite a bit over the recommended maximum size (ST102). No problems noted as yet, but there again I am using it as a wide field scope and don't take magnification above 80.

I guess I'll have to see how long the motors will keep going!

The AZ-4 is quite a lot sturdier than the Synscan AZ mount, especially when the former is on the steel tube tripod.
